About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Gainesville, FL, Country Foodly offers a unique and tantalizing fusion of classic American diner comforts and vibrant Korean flavors. This charming breakfast and all-day diner invites you to experience familiar favorites such as the hearty Country Fried Steak Breakfast or crispy Chicken & Waffle, alongside Korean-inspired delicacies like the savory Bulgogi Beef Omelette and the delightfully spicy Spicy Pork plate.

What truly sets Country Foodly apart is its inventive menu that harmoniously blends two distinct culinary traditions. Imagine sinking your teeth into a fluffy three-egg omelette, generously filled with bulgogi beef sautéed with onions and melted Swiss cheese, served with your choice of crispy hash browns or creamy grits. Or savor the bold flavors of their Korean Tacos—whether bulgogi beef, spicy pork, or chicken teriyaki—paired perfectly with a fresh ginger salad, potsticker, and a savory chicken wing. The complex layers of spice and sweetness in dishes like the Bulgogi Benedict or their homemade Ramyun evoke genuine warmth and comfort, making each bite a memorable delight.

The atmosphere at Country Foodly matches its food philosophy: unpretentious, welcoming, and full of character. The diner’s cozy, rustic vibe creates a laid-back ambiance where strangers quickly become dining companions—a point echoed by patrons who appreciate the friendly, down-to-earth environment that feels refreshingly genuine. While the space might be modest in size, the buzz of satisfied diners and the clinking of plates speak volumes about the quality and care behind each meal.

From Tessa Mitchell’s praise of their use of real ham and generous portions to Nan’s recommendation to arrive early for this popular local gem’s blueberry pancakes and crispy corned beef hash, customer feedback highlights both consistency and community spirit. Andrew Rudolph’s love for the bulgogi beef and spicy pork platters showcases the restaurant’s success in delivering authentic Korean flavors with an American diner twist. Even with some critiques about minor fees, customers like Leonard Blakeley celebrate the fair pricing and quick service, especially considering the high-quality breakfast offerings.

Whether you are craving a comforting plate of Cheese Grits alongside your eggs or an adventurous bowl of Gourmet Korean Shin Ramen, Country Foodly represents the best of both worlds—a friendly neighborhood diner where breakfast is an experience, and every dish tells a story. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a celebration of flavors that bring together tradition, innovation, and heart.

This little restaurant was definitely worth it! The food is delicious and portions are generous. They use real ham not this deli sliced crap. It's a small diner but if you like to meet new people this is the place. Immediately knew when I walked in this was going to be better than a corporate restaurant. Well done!!

For the price, the variety the menu offers, and the food quality, this is a very good, unassuming diner for breakfast and lunch. It's nothing fancy! There's even Korean food offered. The blueberry pancakes, hash browns, eggs, bacon, grits, and crispy corned beef hash were all great. We arrived at 9 AM on a Saturday and found a table. By 10 AM, all tables were taken-- so arrive earlier than later! But this would also be a great place for takeout. Yelp rates this place at 4.5 stars.

Been there several times, super chilled out atmosphere, diner style, great food of all types. I love the beef bulgogi and spicy pork platter and omelette. My daughter loves it too. Really nice people who work there.

Atmosphere is very rustic and kind of dingy, had a great waitress she was very friendly and prompt, The food tasted good and hit the spot. Warning though they do charge extra .50 fee to your order for no reason at all. We did not order anything extra but charged fee anyways. Don't think I will go back to again.

Great diner with such a friendly and welcoming staff! I love the unique Korean twist on their breakfast items — it makes the whole menu stand out. The spicy bulgogi omelette was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The hash browns were spot-on too — crispy outside, fluffy inside. Very flavorful all around. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

Small hole in the wall, but omg such amazing food. Mix of traditional breakfast and korean food. They had a Thai Curry Omelette that I had to go back for again, it was so good. Staff is super friendly. No fancy coffee cocktails, but genuinely good coffee. I'm a decaf drinking and always have a hard time finding good decaf at places. They made me a fresh pot and oh yeah, it was good!! I can't have too much bread, so I normally skip any side of toast or biscuit. They gave me a few options to swap, which I've never been offered elsewhere
